			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Samsung Electronics has reported its 4Q financial results. Revenue grew by 3% to 15.69 trillion Won against the previous quarter. Net income for the quarter was 2.35 trillion Won, a 7% increase over the previous quarter.</p>
<p>Samsung sold 32 million mobile phones, a record high on the quarterly basis. The performance resulted from the popularity of the Ultra Edition series. Thus annual unit sales reached 118 million, surpassing the target figures.</p>
<p>In 2007 Samsung will strengthen its high-end line-up with 30 WCDMA phones and specialty phones that focus on music, video and messaging functions.</p>

<p>Samsung positions the new product as its slimmest MP3-player at the moment – 6.8 mm. The player is equipped with a 1.8” OLED display. In addition to music functionality the device can display JPEG pictures and run slideshows. As for the music, the payer supports MP3, WMA, DRM10 formats. There is an FM-tuner.</p>
